Our Bonita,

Today we say goodbye to you, but we cannot say goodbye to all the memories.

You came to our family many years ago and from the first day you act like you belong here. Maybe because you did.

You was with us for holidays, birthdays, lazy Sundays on the sofa and many walks when the sun was shining and also when it was raining and nobody wanted to go out except you.

Everybody in the family have a story about Bonita.

The way you wait by the door when somebody come home.

The way you always know who had food.

The way you make us laugh even when we have a bad day.

The house feels very different now. More empty. More quiet.

Sometimes we still think we see you sleeping in your favourite place. Sometimes we still listen for your little paws on the floor.

Thank you, Bonita, for all the love you give us. Thank you for being patient with the children, for being our friend and for making our family complete.

We miss you so much, bonita niña.
