Our Forever Place

Where all our love lives on

Sherman

4 July 2013 - 25 May 2026

Sherman was the clever dog who somehow always knew what was going on. The dog who could read a room, understand a routine, and convince everyone that he deserved a little extra treat. Especially if that treat was cucumber. Or peanut butter.

Sherman loved his whole family, and his whole family loved him right back. Whether he was at home or staying with his grandparents, he made himself exactly where he belonged: at the centre of people’s hearts.

His grandparents adored him, and Sherman adored them too. He never seemed to think of visiting them as being away from home. To him, it was simply another place where people loved him.

And although he had five perfectly good dog beds to choose from, Sherman made his decision long ago. One bed was his bed, and no amount of persuasion was going to change his mind.

He filled our days with love, companionship, and countless little moments that seemed ordinary at the time but now feel priceless.

The house feels different without him.

But what a gift it was to have had him here for nearly thirteen wonderful years.

Goodbye, clever boy.

Thank you for every moment.

You were loved beyond measure and will be missed forever. 💔
